THE YUCATAN PENINSULA IN MEXICO
The Yucatan Peninsula in southeastern Mexico has an area of 181,000 km2 and is therefore larger than 105 countries in the world. It constitutes an immense landscape which has biological characteristics that make it unique: jungles and biodiverse coasts unite it as a single biome of very recent creation, having emerged from the sea long after the continental plate of Mexico.
To get to know the Peninsula we recommend at least 1 week, however it is possible to make trips from 1 day to 1 month. We share some examples of activities and tours.
